Kapuna Hospital - Volunteer

Excited about missions? Got some free time? Got a skill you are willing to offer? Got too much money?  You're talking our language...

Over the last 60 years, a lot of people from all over the world have contributed to God's work (Medical and Mission) at Kapuna and Kikori...thank you...and please come again soon.

Like any charitable organisation, we always have needs; and like any Christian organisation, we always need prayer and encouragement.

You can volunteer time (at Kapuna/Kikori or at home); you can volunteer skill; and you can volunteer financially.

Time
For followers of Christ, time is always better than money. I mean, who can buy prayer warriors, or even prayers that have great effect? You have time to offer? We have time to talk!
At home? You can pray for us and for the work here. For thoseof you that do already, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

And as well as the vital
ministry of prayer, there are any number of other things that can be done for the work, right from your home (this website is a classic example; turning Lin's books into pdf is another)
At Kapuna/Kikori? You have a skill? Or sometimes even better, a willingness to do anything? Want to organize a work team from your church, or amongst your friends? The field is ready; the harvesters always few.

Skill
We are blessed with wonderful volunteers that sort out our electricity, our computers, our outboards, that build buildings under the hot PNG sun...but of course, we can always do with more.

And being a mission based around on-going medical work amongst the poor of PNG, we are always looking for anyone remotely medical...

Finance
While the PNG government (bless them) pays for medicines and basic staff salaries, we have to find the funds for most anything else. We are frugal, but frugal is only one side of the gold coin.

For equipment, buildings, resources, Christian outreaches, and Christian workers, we do need finance...a heartfelt thank-you to all who have contributed so much over so many years...may God bless you all richly.

So, if you'd like to volunteer for all or any of the above, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us in any way you want (carrier bird-of-paradise normally doesn't quite do it....they're not what you'd call reliable birds)

Ideally, in the first instance, please use the 'Contact Us' Form (click 'Contact Us' above).
