Kapuna Hospital has an elementary and middle school, serving the hospital staff families. It combines New Zealand and PNG curriculum to ensure the students are getting a well-rounded education that is culturally appropriate.

Nov 27 2013-11The main language of the school is English.

Evolving from Barb Calvert’s homeschooling of her children, the school has been growing at an exponential rate. As it expands, it will increasingly demand more teachers, training, and resources to serve the community.

If you are an educator interested in a rural placement or have a desire to see the developing world increase in educational training and resources, please contact us to see how you can get involved with Kapuna’s school. Your time and skills are valuable to us.
